Skal New Orleans raises funds for the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation

At Skal International New Orleans's December Christmas Party on December 13, 2021, we were able to raise $7,916.00 at our fabulous Silent Auction!   Thanks to Skal Member Stu Barash who singlehandedly coordinated this auction and special thanks to all who donated fabulous auction items and, of course, thanks to all who placed these high bids on the great items.

After Hurricane Ida devasted Southeast Louisiana back on August 29, Skal Boston donated $1000 to Skal New Orleans to use to help in the best way possible.   The Board of Directors of Skal New Orleans determined these funds should also go to help hospitality industry workers who were still in a crisis.  So with Skal Boston's approval, we presented a large check to the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation (LHF) in the amount of $8.916.00.
