Skal New Orleans 8th Annual Industry Update – Tuesday, June 20th

Our 8th Annual Industry Update is in two weeks…Tuesday, June 20 at the U.S. Freedom Pavillion: the Boeing Center at The National WWII Museum.  We are anticipating 300 industry professionals in attendance this year!

Our Keynote Speaker is Don Welsh, President and CEO, Destinations International.  A seasoned tourism executive with more than 40 years of experience in the industry, Don Welsh has held positions with almost every sector within the travel and tourism industry.   Destinations International is the global trade association for convention and visitors bureaus and tourism boards.   Walt Leger, President & CEO of New Orleans & Company, will join Don to discuss navigating our industry today and forward.

As an added reason to attend this very special meeting, immediately following our program, all attendees are invited to stay to experience the Expressions of America outdoor sound and lights exhibit…well worth the extra 20 minutes to see this fabulous show!

TIME SCHEDULE

Networking begins at 5:30 pm
Dinner/Program begins promptly at  6:30 pm 
Expressions of Amerca – 8:15 pm

Please remember…to enter the museum, you MUST use the Special Events entrance at 1043 Magazine St. – see map attached. 

There is only a limited amount of complimentary parking spaces available across the street in the museum's indoor garage due to a large group at the hotel.   However, there are several pay parking lots nearby…more details to follow.

For all "Active" members, the cost of an individual ticket is included in your annual dues. The cost for Life & Retired Members is $70.  To pay online, please contact bobbimannino@gmail.com and request an invoice which can be paid by credit card.
