Mark your calendar and get your taste buds ready for our November 14th Dinner Meeting at Arnaud's Restaurant. Remember, our November meeting will be on a Tuesday night and not our traditional 3rd Monday of the month.
Katy Casbarian, proprietor of Arnaud's, has truly rolled out the red carpet for Skal New Orleans. Caroline Hubbard has sent our menu which we are happy to share with all of you.
1st Course: Appetiser
Shrimp Remoulade – A duet of Louisiana Gulf Shrimp with White Remoulade and Arnaud's Remoulade
2nd Course: Soup
Oysters stewed in cream
3rd Course: Entree 1
Demi Snapper – Sauteed and served on a bed of black eyed peas with tasso and Beurre Rouge
4th Course: Entree 2
Demi Veal Tournedo Chantal – Sauteed and served in a Wild Mushroom Sauce with Savory Risotto
5th Course: Dessert
Chocolate Hazelnut Tart – Hazelnut Sable, Ganache, orange peel and Burnt Orange Sauce
